What 5 flashes means
The Dometic DF furnace manual lists 5 flashes with a 3-second pause as low voltage 8 V-9 V.
Owner-safe checks
- Turn the furnace off.
- Check the RV battery or charger state only at normal user monitors.
Service-only work
- Furnace low-voltage, wiring, converter, and board diagnosis is qualified RV electrical service work.
Safety boundary
RV furnaces burn LP gas and can create fire, explosion, electrical, burn, and carbon monoxide hazards. Shut the furnace off and do not service burner, board, wiring, gas, or combustion parts unless qualified.
