Furrion E5 fault code — Water heater

Applies to: FWH09A-AM, FWH09AFA, FWH09AFA-AM, FWH09AFA-AB

What E5 means

The Furrion tankless water heater troubleshooting manual lists E5 as air pressure; Lippert TI-514 clarifies E5 as a blower motor or air pressure switch circuit condition.

Owner-safe checks

  • Turn the appliance off.
  • Check only for obvious exterior vent or exhaust obstruction from outside the RV.
  • Record the water heater model, serial number date code, displayed E5, and whether the blower starts or stops during a call for hot water.
  • Contact Furrion or a qualified technician if E5 returns.

Service-only work

  • Connector, pressure switch, flex tube, Venturi, blower, control-board, wiring, LP, exhaust, and internal water-heater diagnosis is qualified service work.

Safety boundary

Do not run a gas water heater with abnormal flame, blocked venting, gas odor, or repeated lockout. Shut off LP/power and call service if the code persists.
