Owner-safe checklist

  • Turn cooling off if airflow falls or ice is visible at owner-accessible vents.
  • Run HIGH FAN from normal controls to help the coil thaw before another cooling call.
  • Clean owner-accessible filters and make sure supply louvers are open.
  • Raise the setpoint and use higher fan speed in cool, humid conditions; call qualified RV HVAC service if freeze-up repeats.
