Dometic Bluetooth CT touch display and inside temperature

Dometic capacitive touch guidance says inside temperature display is available from Off Mode, while the touch interface requires skin contact and can become unresponsive until moisture evaporates from wet fingers or cleaning.

Owner-safe checklist

  • Use normal controls to put the CT thermostat in Off Mode before viewing inside temperature.
  • Use bare, dry fingers on the capacitive touch buttons; gloves or bandages can prevent response.
  • If moisture or a damp cloth made the touch surface unresponsive, allow time for the surface to dry.
  • Do not spray water or solvents on the CT thermostat.
  • Call qualified RV HVAC service if dry touch controls and normal display steps do not restore response.
