Dometic Brisk AC not cooling fan and compressor triage
Use this when a Dometic Brisk rooftop unit powers on but is not cooling and the owner can only identify whether the fan, compressor, both, or neither appear to be running.
Owner-safe checklist
- Set the thermostat to cooling mode and lower the set temperature from normal controls.
- Listen from the living area and record whether both fan and compressor are running, fan only, compressor only, or neither.
- Clean owner-accessible return-air filters and confirm supply vents are open.
- Call qualified RV HVAC service if cooling does not recover after normal controls and visible airflow checks.
