Dometic CFX5 Lid Open Alert Prep

Use this when a CFX5 reports a lid-open alert after the lid has been open for several minutes or does not latch normally.

Owner-safe checklist

• Record the CFX5 model, alert text, lid position, gasket condition, load height, and app or display state.
• Clear items blocking the lid and let the cooler stabilize after the lid is closed.
• Contact Dometic support if the alert remains with the lid closed or the latch or seal is damaged.
