Dometic FreshJet heat-strip cold-weather prep

Use this when a FreshJet electric heat-strip option does not maintain room temperature in colder weather and the owner needs service notes.

Owner-safe checklist

Record the outside temperature, thermostat setting, mode, fan setting, room temperature, and whether the unit is a heat-strip or heat-pump installation.
Use only normal thermostat or remote settings already available to the owner.
Treat the heat strip as comfort assist, not a substitute for a furnace in cold weather.
Use Dometic support or qualified RV HVAC service if heat output does not match the installed equipment.
