Dometic OD-5001 no water flow from tap
Use this when an OD-5001 installation has no water flow from the tap after the tap is turned on.
Use this atlas to identify likely meaning and prepare for service. Shut off power, LP gas, fuel, or water when a listed appliance condition involves flame, gas smell, exhaust, generator shutdown, high temperature, moving jacks/slides, refrigerant, 120 VAC, control boards, repeated ignition failure, or a persistent lockout. Call the appliance maker, RV dealer, or a qualified RV technician for repair.
Owner-safe checklist
- Turn the OD-5001 off if no water reaches the hot tap.
- Record whether other faucets have water and whether the hot and cold lines may have been reversed after installation or service.
- Check only normal pump, supply, and shutoff-valve state from owner-accessible controls.
- Have an installer or qualified service correct reversed or misrouted plumbing; do not modify water lines as a troubleshooting step.
