Dometic OD-5001 rapidly cycles on and off
Use this when an OD-5001 burner starts but cycles rapidly during hot-water use.
Owner-safe checklist
- Open the hot-water outlet enough to keep steady flow through the heater.
- Clean faucet aerators or shower screens only where they are owner-accessible.
- Avoid operating the heater below the minimum flow described by Dometic support.
- Call service if rapid cycling continues after restoring normal water flow.
