Dometic water heater P/T relief dripping or lost air gap
Use this when a Dometic/Atwood tank water heater drips from the pressure-temperature relief outlet and Dometic air-gap guidance may apply.
Owner-safe checklist
- Turn the water heater off and let stored water cool before following Dometic air-gap instructions.
- Record whether the P/T relief outlet drips only while heating or continues after cooldown.
- Do not cap, plug, restrict, or ignore the P/T relief outlet.
- Call qualified service if discharge repeats, the relief valve is corroded, or any valve or plumbing part needs replacement.
