Furrion range manuals say if you smell gas, do not light appliances, avoid switches and phones, leave the RV, shut off LP at the container if safe, and call the gas supplier or fire department; they also warn never to use the range or oven as a space heater because of carbon monoxide risk.
Owner-safe checklist
- Do not light any appliance or create flames.
- Avoid electrical switches and phones inside the RV.
- Get everyone out of the RV and shut off LP at the container if you can do so safely.
- Call the gas supplier or fire department from outside the RV, then use qualified service before returning to use.
- Never use the range or oven as a heat source for the RV.
