Furrion range oven pilot flame blowout and ventilation

Furrion range manuals say if the oven pilot flame goes out, turn the control OFF and wait five minutes before relighting; they also warn that foil over slots, holes, passages, the bottom, or racks can block ventilation and create carbon monoxide risk.

Owner-safe checklist

  • Stop immediately if you smell gas when the oven door is opened.
  • If the pilot flame goes out, turn the control OFF and wait at least five minutes before normal relight.
  • Keep oven slots, holes, passages, bottom, and racks uncovered so ventilation is not blocked.
  • Never line the oven bottom or rack with foil.
  • Never use the oven as a heat source for the RV.
