Furrion range oven pilot flame blowout and ventilation
Furrion range manuals say if the oven pilot flame goes out, turn the control OFF and wait five minutes before relighting; they also warn that foil over slots, holes, passages, the bottom, or racks can block ventilation and create carbon monoxide risk.
Use this atlas to identify likely meaning and prepare for service. Shut off power, LP gas, fuel, or water when a listed appliance condition involves flame, gas smell, exhaust, generator shutdown, high temperature, moving jacks/slides, refrigerant, 120 VAC, control boards, repeated ignition failure, or a persistent lockout. Call the appliance maker, RV dealer, or a qualified RV technician for repair.
Owner-safe checklist
- Stop immediately if you smell gas when the oven door is opened.
- If the pilot flame goes out, turn the control OFF and wait at least five minutes before normal relight.
- Keep oven slots, holes, passages, bottom, and racks uncovered so ventilation is not blocked.
- Never line the oven bottom or rack with foil.
- Never use the oven as a heat source for the RV.
