Owner-safe checklist

Record the Girard tankless water heater model, E0 display, water-flow symptom, LP state, power state if known, and when the error appears.
Save photos of the display, model label, exterior vent condition, water-temperature setting, and service paperwork from normal owner access.
Turn the water heater off and turn LP off for LP odor, exhaust concern, overheating, leak, or repeated E0 symptoms.
Use Girard/Lippert support or qualified water-heater service for LP system, installed power, water-heater internals, parts, warranty, or repair decisions.
