Onan EC-AGS+ unexpected generator start or stop

Use this atlas to identify likely meaning and prepare for service. Shut off power, LP gas, fuel, or water when a listed appliance condition involves flame, gas smell, exhaust, generator shutdown, high temperature, moving jacks/slides, refrigerant, 120 VAC, control boards, repeated ignition failure, or a persistent lockout. Call the appliance maker, RV dealer, or a qualified RV technician for repair.
Owner-safe checklist
- If the generator starts unexpectedly in an unsafe location, use the local or remote physical stop control and disable AGS from the app.
- Record temperature setting, quiet-time window, mobile-device clock/time zone, house-battery start and stop settings, and active alerts.
- Do not use AGS as life support power; the manual warns the generator set/control can stop without warning.
- Use qualified service for repeated unexpected starts or stops, accelerometer faults, generator faults, gateway diagnosis, or control diagnosis.
