Onan Energy Command AUTO RUN LOW BAT or battery-sense start
Energy Command 30 lists AUTO RUN LOW BAT when the generator starts because the battery is low, and EC-AGS+ uses House Battery Sense Start @ V and Stop @ V settings for automatic starts and stops.
Owner-safe checklist
- Do not enable AGS indoors or in a confined space, and disable AGS before fueling, storage, servicing, or any CO/exhaust concern.
- Record the displayed AUTO RUN LOW BAT, AUTO STOP FULL BAT, or battery-sense status and the house battery state shown by normal RV monitor panels.
- Confirm whether shore power is connected and whether quiet time or battery-sense settings explain the automatic start.
- Do not change advanced house-battery sense voltage settings unless qualified personnel have verified the charging system operating voltages.
- Use qualified RV electrical or Cummins Onan service for repeated low-battery starts, charging-system diagnosis, or generator faults.
