Onan Energy Command AGS disabled after movement or safety input
The Energy Command 30 manual says automatic operation is disabled after vehicle movement, a stale safety-input check, or an unsafe automatic-start condition; AUTO ON and QUIET ON are only for safe locations.
Owner-safe checklist
- Do not enable AUTO ON, QUIET ON, or AGS if the RV is indoors, in a confined space, being fueled, parked for storage, or being serviced.
- If the EC-30 shows SAFETY OFF & ON, record whether the configured safety type is ignition, park, or brake before using normal owner controls.
- Move only to a safe, ventilated location before re-enabling automatic generator start from the normal AUTO GEN or app control.
- Call Cummins Onan or qualified generator service if AGS will not enable after normal safety verification or if any safety input behavior is unclear.
