Thetford RV toilet bowl water does not hold
Use this when Thetford permanent RV toilet or Aqua-Magic bowl water will not hold, points to the blade or ball seal track, or needs lip-seal maintenance before service.
Owner-safe checklist
- Record the toilet model family, how quickly bowl water drains, and whether the blade or ball visibly closes from normal owner access.
- Clean the bowl and visible seal area only with Thetford-compatible non-abrasive cleaner, a soft brush, sponge, or cloth.
- Check for and remove visible debris from the blade or ball seal track; use Thetford toilet seal lubricant or conditioner only as the manual and FAQ allow.
- Contact Thetford, a dealer, or qualified RV service if the bowl still will not hold water, the seal looks worn, or the mechanism does not close freely.
