Thetford RV toilet leak behind toilet or at base
Use this when a Thetford RV toilet leaks behind the bowl, at the water supply connection, while flushing, or between the closet flange and toilet base.
Owner-safe checklist
- Turn off the RV water supply or water pump from normal owner controls and dry visible water before the leak spreads.
- Record whether water appears behind the toilet, during flushing, at the visible supply connection, or between the toilet and floor.
- From normal access only, check that the visible water supply line connection at the toilet is seated and not loose.
- Contact Thetford, a dealer, or qualified RV service for persistent leaks, suspected vacuum breaker or water valve failure, flange leaks, or any step that would require toilet removal.
