What Display fault 05 means
The official Dometic RUA support page for display fault 05 says to reset the error with the encoder button and, if the fault remains, check AC supply because voltage is low.
Owner-safe checks
- Record display fault 05 and take a photo of the display.
- Reset the error once by pressing the encoder button for 3 seconds until a beep is heard.
- If the fault remains, verify only normal owner-visible AC supply status from RV controls or monitor panels.
Service-only work
- A continuing display fault 05 must be handled by an authorized service provider.
- AC supply diagnosis, breakers, wiring, voltage testing, sensors, and refrigerator control electronics are service-only.
