Dometic documentation describes E4 separately for each model line: Dometic RM1350 / RM1350SL (“DC voltage is outside the manual range of approximately 8-18 VDC”); Dometic RM3762 / RM3962 (“DC voltage out of range, above or below the manual limit values”). Compare the wording for your model below.

Do not open electrical compartments or test live circuits; document the DC state and arrange RV electrical service if the code persists.
