Dometic LP fault code — Refrigerator

What LP means
The RM3762/RM3962 operating instructions say a flashing LP message alternating with the fresh-food temperature means LP gas ignition failed after a complete ignition sequence and the burner did not light.
Owner-safe checks
- Record the alternating LP and temperature display before resetting.
- If the LP cylinder is empty, replace it before one documented front-panel restart.
- After a long shutoff or cylinder change, follow only the manual front-panel restart sequence and stop if the display returns.
Service-only work
- Repeated LP ignition failure, burner obstruction, LP hardware, and refrigerator control diagnosis are service-only.
Safety boundary
Do not service LP hardware or ignition parts; use only the documented front-panel restart and call a Dometic dealer if LP returns.
