What Display fault 18 means
The official Dometic RUA support page for display fault 18 says to reset the error with the encoder button and continue to authorized service if the problem remains.
Owner-safe checks
- Record display fault 18 and take a photo of the display.
- Reset the error once by pressing the encoder button for 3 seconds until a beep is heard.
- Do not keep holding the encoder button after the reset beep; the page warns that holding too long turns the refrigerator off without resetting the error.
Service-only work
- A continuing display fault 18 must be handled by an authorized service provider.
- Internal refrigerator diagnosis, LP hardware, electrical circuits, cooling-system work, wiring, sensors, and control electronics are service-only.
