What Display fault 51 means
The official Dometic RUA support page for display fault 51 says to check that the gas bottle is not empty and gas valves are turned on, then reset the error with the encoder button.
Owner-safe checks
- Record display fault 51 and take a photo of the display.
- Confirm from normal owner controls that the gas bottle is not empty and owner-accessible gas valves are on.
- Reset the error once by pressing the encoder button for 3 seconds until a beep is heard.
Service-only work
- A continuing display fault 51 must be handled by an authorized service provider.
- Repeated ignition lockout, LP hardware, burner, regulator, flue, wiring, and refrigerator control diagnosis are service-only.
Safety boundary
Do not service LP hardware, burners, regulators, flues, electrical circuits, wiring, or refrigerator controls; use only normal owner-visible LP supply checks and front-panel reset before qualified service.
