Dometic Display fault E35 fault code — Refrigerator

Applies to: RUC refrigerator

What Display fault E35 means

The official Dometic RUC support page for display fault E35 says to make sure refrigerator ventilation is not obstructed, notes that extreme ambient temperatures can trigger the over-temperature code, and says remaining repair requires an authorized service provider.

Owner-safe checks

  • Record display fault E35 and take a photo of the display.
  • Check only owner-visible refrigerator ventilation openings for obstruction.
  • Note ambient temperature and reset the error once by pressing the encoder button for 3 seconds until a beep is heard.

Service-only work

  • A continuing E35 over-temperature fault must be handled by an authorized service provider.
  • Cooling-system, compressor, airflow-system, sensor, wiring, and control-electronics diagnosis are service-only.

Safety boundary

Do not remove refrigerator panels, service airflow components, wiring, sensors, compressor/cooling components, or controls; use only owner-visible ventilation checks and front-panel reset before qualified service.
