Dometic E1 fault code — Thermostat
Applies to: Single Zone LCD thermostat, 3313192, 3313193, 3313194
What E1 means
The Dometic Single Zone LCD thermostat manual lists E1 as loss of communication between the Single Zone LCD thermostat and the module board; the LCD cycles between E1 and the previous mode setting, and the system shuts down.
Owner-safe checks
- Record the displayed code, previous mode, setpoint, and selected fan setting.
- Turn the thermostat off from the normal On/Off Mode button if the HVAC equipment is not responding.
- Note whether normal RV shore power, generator power, or battery power is present from installed indicators.
Service-only work
- Single Zone thermostat communication and module-board diagnosis should be handled by qualified RV HVAC service.
Safety boundary
Do not open thermostat, rooftop HVAC, or electrical compartments, and do not bypass communication or sensor circuits. Shut the affected HVAC system off and arrange qualified RV HVAC service for unresolved Single Zone LCD faults.
