RV thermostat delay or no response

Use this when a Dometic or Coleman-Mach/Airxcel thermostat appears asleep, blinks an HVAC state, waits before compressor operation, or a zone does not respond to settings.

Owner-safe checklist

  • Confirm the thermostat mode, zone, fan setting, and setpoint allow the requested operation.
  • Wake the display and wait through the built-in communication or short-cycle delay.
  • Record whether the display is dim, blinking, remote-sensor controlled, or zone-specific.
  • Do not change upper control-board settings or thermostat wiring.
