Dometic RM10 internal battery packs

Use this when an RM10 owner is changing the internal battery packs that power the electronics during unavailable 12 V DC supply.

Owner-safe checklist

• Use the internal battery packs only as Dometic describes when the vehicle 12 V DC supply is unavailable or cut off.
• Replace only the accessible battery packs under the operating element, using 12 AA batteries total.
• Record controller type, battery age, and whether the refrigerator switches back to normal RV power.
• Call qualified service for battery-pack contacts, wiring, electronics, or refrigerator control issues beyond normal battery handling.
