Dometic RM10 low outside temperature winter covers
Use this when an RM10 loses cooling capacity in low ambient temperatures and Dometic winter-cover guidance may apply.
Use this atlas to identify likely meaning and prepare for service. Shut off power, LP gas, fuel, or water when a listed appliance condition involves flame, gas smell, exhaust, generator shutdown, high temperature, moving jacks/slides, refrigerant, 120 VAC, control boards, repeated ignition failure, or a persistent lockout. Call the appliance maker, RV dealer, or a qualified RV technician for repair.
Owner-safe checklist
- Install Dometic winter covers only as specified for the selected energy mode.
- In AC or DC mode, use both winter covers if low outside temperature affects cooling capacity.
- In gas or automatic mode, use only the lower winter cover so heat and fumes can dissipate properly.
- Call qualified service if low-temperature cooling loss repeats, odor appears, or LP/electrical symptoms appear.
