Dometic RUC unusual refrigerator noise
Use this when a Dometic RUC refrigerator makes unusual noise. Keep owner action to loose interior items and route cooling-system contact or persistent noise to service.
Use this atlas to identify likely meaning and prepare for service. Shut off power, LP gas, fuel, or water when a listed appliance condition involves flame, gas smell, exhaust, generator shutdown, high temperature, moving jacks/slides, refrigerant, 120 VAC, control boards, repeated ignition failure, or a persistent lockout. Call the appliance maker, RV dealer, or a qualified RV technician for repair.
Owner-safe checklist
- Move jars, bottles, and loose containers away from each other and away from the fan housing.
- Record whether the noise changes after loose interior items are moved.
- Do not bend sealed cooling-system parts or tubing; call authorized service if the noise is not from loose interior items.
