Furrion Chill 2 filter, icing, or water leak

Use this when a Furrion Chill 2, 8K, or low-profile A/C has weak cooling, icing, or water entering the vehicle.

Owner-safe checklist

• Set the rooftop air conditioner to cooling from normal controls and confirm the selected temperature is lower than room temperature.
• Clean the return-air filter and never operate the air conditioning system without the filter installed.
• If icing is suspected, stop cooling and let the unit thaw through normal operation settings before restarting.
• Clean condensation drainage openings only from normal access if water enters the vehicle.
• Contact Furrion or qualified RV HVAC service if filter, icing, drainage, or water-entry symptoms continue.
