Furrion refrigerator moisture, ice, condensation, or defrost
Use this when a Furrion refrigerator has moisture or ice inside or outside the cabinet, ordinary condensation, frost buildup, or defrost questions.
Use this atlas to identify likely meaning and prepare for service. Shut off power, LP gas, fuel, or water when a listed appliance condition involves flame, gas smell, exhaust, generator shutdown, high temperature, moving jacks/slides, refrigerant, 120 VAC, control boards, repeated ignition failure, or a persistent lockout. Call the appliance maker, RV dealer, or a qualified RV technician for repair.
Owner-safe checklist
- Dry visible moisture, cover liquids, close doors quickly, and let warm food cool before loading.
- If defrost is needed, turn the refrigerator off from normal controls, move food, use towels, and let ice melt naturally.
- Do not use sharp tools, mechanical defrost methods, or external heat to remove ice.
- Arrange qualified service if moisture, ice, or water returns quickly after door, loading, and natural-defrost checks.
