Girard GSWH-1/GSWH-1M LED diagnostics or lockout
Use this when a legacy Girard GSWH-1 or GSWH-1M diagnostic LED is steady on, blinking one through five flashes, or the heater enters lockout.
Owner-safe checklist
- Count the diagnostic LED pattern exactly: steady on, one through five flashes, then the three-second repeat.
- Use one normal-control reset only if there is no gas odor, overheating, leak, or blocked vent condition.
- Stop repeated restart attempts and record LP, 12V, water-flow, and model-label details.
- Use Lippert/Girard or qualified RV service for internal control, airflow, flame, low-voltage, or repeated lockout faults.
