Suburban tank water heater RESET light or ignition lockout

Use this when a Suburban D, DE, or DEL tank water heater leaves the red RESET light on after ignition tries or does not heat on LP.

Owner-safe checklist

Turn the water heater off and confirm the tank is filled with water before any restart.
If the manual reset path applies, wait five seconds before one normal switch restart.
Stop repeated reset attempts if the red RESET light returns or the heater does not ignite.
Record LP state, switch position, water-heater model, and whether this is first startup after LP service for a Suburban authorized service center.
