What display module limp mode means
For DM2682, DM2683, DMA4064, DMA4067, DMA4068, DM2882, DMA4084, and DMA4087 refrigerators, the Dometic DM/DMA operating manual says a nonfunctional display module makes the control system revert to full automatic operation with the temperature setting held at the middle position.
Owner-safe checks
- Record the nonfunctional display state and model information.
- Avoid repeated mode changes if the display is not responding.
- Arrange Dometic service if normal display operation does not return.
Service-only work
- Display module, power module, wiring, and control diagnostics are service-only.
Safety boundary
Do not service LP hardware, electrical circuits, display modules, wiring, or refrigerator controls; call qualified service for nonfunctional display operation.
