Norcold 7 fault code — Refrigerator

What 7 means
The official Thetford N3000 troubleshooting sheet lists error code 7 as: No engine-run signal is present while control is in Manual DC mode.
Owner-safe checks
- Record the exact display wording and whether an audible alarm is present.
- Turn the refrigerator off if cooling is interrupted or the fault repeats.
- Move perishables if temperature is unsafe.
Service-only work
- D-plus input, vehicle charging, and refrigerator control diagnosis should be handled by qualified RV electrical or Thetford/Norcold service.
Safety boundary
Do not hand-light, clean burner parts, adjust LP gas, bypass refrigerator controls, or open electrical compartments. Shut off LP if gas odor is present and arrange qualified Norcold service for unresolved faults.
