What 18 means
The Norcold N3000 North America owner manual lists code 18 for the start-up display state where all symbols light up briefly before normal operation.
Owner-safe checks
- Wait a few seconds for the display to finish start-up.
- Record the code if the display does not return to normal operation.
- Move perishables if temperature is unsafe.
Service-only work
- Persistent start-up display faults should be diagnosed by a qualified Norcold Service Center.
Safety boundary
Do not open refrigerator electrical compartments, bypass refrigerator controls, or inspect wiring. Shut the refrigerator off and arrange qualified Norcold service for persistent display faults.
