What you can safely check

- Turn the refrigerator off if cooling is interrupted or the fault repeats.
- Move perishables if temperature is unsafe.
- Record battery, converter, solar, or generator state if visible.
- Check the RV battery monitor.
- Confirm the converter or battery disconnect has not been turned off.
- Document battery voltage if available from an installed monitor.
Stop and call a technician for
- Battery charging, converter, DC supply, and refrigerator electrical diagnosis should be handled by qualified RV electrical or Norcold service.
- Low-voltage DC electrical diagnosis should be handled by qualified RV electrical service or Norcold service.
- Wiring, converter, board, fuse-holder heat, or voltage-drop diagnosis should be handled by qualified RV electrical service.
Do not hand-light, clean burner parts, adjust LP gas, bypass refrigerator controls, or open electrical compartments. Shut off LP if gas odor is present and arrange qualified Norcold service for unresolved faults.
Do not bypass refrigerator controls, flame-sense devices, high-temperature protection, LP components, or electrical circuits. Shut off LP and power if there is gas odor, flame abnormality, overheating, or repeated fault behavior.
Do not work inside energized 12 VDC or 120 VAC panels unless qualified.
