RV Appliance Code Atlas

Norcold no AC fault code — Refrigerator

Applies to: Polar N7LX, Polar N8LX

What no AC means

The manual says no AC means AC voltage is not available to the refrigerator.

Owner-safe checks

  • Turn the refrigerator off and back on once.
  • Check only obvious owner-safe items such as whether the RV is connected to power and whether a breaker is visibly tripped.
  • Record shore power or generator state.

Service-only work

  • 120 VAC, generator, wiring, and control diagnosis should be handled by qualified service.

Safety boundary

Do not bypass refrigerator controls, flame-sense devices, high-temperature protection, LP components, or electrical circuits. Shut off LP and power if there is gas odor, flame abnormality, overheating, or repeated fault behavior.
