Dometic RUA/RUC defrosting and ice buildup

Use this when a Dometic RUA or RUC refrigerator has frost or ice buildup and the owner needs the Dometic defrost boundary.

Owner-safe checklist

Turn the refrigerator off with normal controls and remove food before defrosting.
Leave the doors open and wipe compartments dry after the ice melts.
Do not use mechanical tools, heat guns, or sharp objects to remove ice or loosen stuck items.
Call authorized service if heavy frost returns quickly or cooling remains poor after defrosting.
