Girard GSWH-2 low flow or temperature swing
Use this when a Girard GSWH-2 has weak hot-water flow, water not hot enough, water too hot or cold, low campground pressure, filter restriction, or temperature swing.
Owner-safe checklist
- Confirm LP, water, and 12V power are on from normal RV controls and the set temperature is reasonable.
- Try the onboard pump if campground pressure is low, and clean owner-accessible faucet strainers or inlet screens only when the manual allows it.
- Keep shower and fixture handles fully closed between uses so cold water does not bleed through the hot side.
- Call Lippert/Girard or a qualified RV technician for repeated codes, persistent low temperature, low voltage, LP supply, or internal service concerns.
