Onan EC-AGS+ generator does not run A/C
The EC-AGS+ owner manual says a generator that does not run A/C can be tied to temperature setting, temperature-sensor battery voltage, Bluetooth range, quiet-time settings, or gateway battery voltage.
Owner-safe checklist
- Do not enable AGS indoors or in a confined space, and shut the generator down if exhaust, CO, or ventilation conditions are unsafe.
- Confirm from the app dashboard that Auto Mode and Air Conditioning Sense are enabled and that the current and set temperatures are displayed.
- Check only owner-accessible items: temperature setting, quiet-time window, sensor battery, sensor/gateway Bluetooth range, and gateway battery state.
- Call Cummins Onan, the RV dealer, or qualified HVAC/generator service if A/C demand or generator start behavior remains unclear.
