Dometic refrigerator code E03
Most Dometic documentation lists E03 as “There is no connection between power module and display”. Some model lines word it differently or give it a different meaning: Dometic RMD10T / RMD10XT (“No connection between the power module and display”).

What you can safely check
- Record the E03 error before resetting.
- Use the manual front-panel reset only as directed.
- Record the exact fault code and take a photo of the display.
- Check only obvious owner-safe conditions such as blocked exterior vents or interrupted RV power.
- Turn the refrigerator off if cooling is abnormal and arrange model-specific service.
- Record display fault E03 and take a photo of the display.
- Reset the error once by pressing the encoder button for 3 seconds until a beep is heard.
- Do not keep holding the encoder button after the reset beep; the page warns that holding too long turns the refrigerator off without resetting the error.
Stop and call a technician for
- Power-module/display communication diagnosis is service-only.
- Cooling-system, LP, electrical, sensor, control, and repeated-fault diagnosis belongs to an authorized Dometic service provider.
- A continuing E03 fault must be handled by an authorized service provider.
- Internal refrigerator diagnosis, compressor or cooling-system work, wiring, sensors, and control electronics are service-only.
Do not open gas, electrical, or cooling-system components; use only documented front-panel actions and call qualified RV service for repeated faults.
Use only the front-panel reset and basic owner-visible checks from the manual; keep LP, electrical, cooling, and module diagnosis with qualified service.
Do not bypass refrigerator safety controls or work on LP/electrical components. Shut off LP and power if there is gas odor, scorching, abnormal heat, or repeated fault behavior.
Do not service refrigerator wiring, sensors, compressor/cooling components, or control electronics; use only the front-panel reset and arrange qualified service if the fault remains or returns.
