Dometic Lock-Out Lamp fault code — Water heater
Applies to: WH-6GA, WH-6GEA, WH-9GEA, WH-10GEA, WH-16GEA
What Lock-Out Lamp means
The red lockout lamp indicates the water heater has a no-heat fault or failed operation condition on Dometic WH-series LP gas water heaters.
Owner-safe checks
- Turn the water heater off.
- Confirm the tank is full before any restart attempt.
- Write down whether the appliance was in gas or electric mode.
Service-only work
- Persistent lockout, overheating, ECO, thermal cut-off, flame, gas, or wiring diagnosis requires Dometic service.
Safety boundary
Do not open gas components, bypass the ECO, or keep resetting an overheating water heater. Shut off LP and power and call service if the lockout persists.
