Norcold DC compressor refrigerator LED diagnostics
Use this when a Norcold N2000, N8DCX, or N10DCX refrigerator shows a red/orange LED state, user-interface fault code, or compressor power-module flash count.
Use this atlas to identify likely meaning and prepare for service. Shut off power, LP gas, fuel, or water when a listed appliance condition involves flame, gas smell, exhaust, generator shutdown, high temperature, moving jacks/slides, refrigerant, 120 VAC, control boards, repeated ignition failure, or a persistent lockout. Call the appliance maker, RV dealer, or a qualified RV technician for repair.
Owner-safe checklist
- Record the LED color, flash count, displayed code, and whether cooling stopped.
- Check normal owner-visible battery monitor readings before calling service.
- Do not inspect wiring, fuses, compressor modules, fans, or thermistor circuits unless qualified.
