Furrion documentation describes E2 separately for each model line: Furrion 2.4 GPM tankless water heater (FWH09A) (“Detected fake flame signal”); Furrion F2GWH tankless water heater (“Flame sensing interrupted during normal operation”). Compare the wording for your model below.

- Flame sensing, combustion, air pressure, fan, solenoid, sensor, board, LP, exhaust, and internal water-heater diagnosis is qualified service work.
Do not keep operating a tankless gas water heater with repeated display faults, abnormal heat, blocked exhaust, gas odor, or unstable hot-water temperature.
Do not run a gas water heater with abnormal flame, blocked venting, gas odor, or repeated lockout. Shut off LP/power and call service if the code persists.
