Applies to: N15DCX, N20DCX, Polar Elite N15/N20
What E5 means

Owner-safe checks
- Record the displayed code or diagnostic flash count.
- Turn the refrigerator off if cooling is interrupted or the fault repeats.
- Keep food safety in mind and move perishables if needed.
Service-only work
- Low-voltage DC diagnosis should be handled by qualified Norcold or RV electrical service.
Safety boundary
Do not bypass compressor controls, fan circuits, thermistors, fuse protection, or DC wiring. Shut off the refrigerator and arrange qualified Norcold service for unresolved diagnostic faults.
