What display module limp mode means

For RM2354/RM2454/RM2554/DM2662/DM2663/DM2862/NDM1062 models, the Americana manual says a nonfunctional display module can put the refrigerator in full automatic operation with the temperature setting held at mid position.

Owner-safe checks

• Record the nonfunctional display state and model information.
• Avoid repeated mode changes if the display is not responding.
• Arrange Dometic service if normal display operation does not return.

Service-only work

• Display module, power module, wiring, and control diagnostics are service-only.

Safety boundary

Do not open gas, electrical, or cooling-system components; use only documented front-panel actions and call qualified RV service for repeated faults.
