Suburban/Atwood E3 fault code — Induction cooktop

What E3 means
Cooktop surface is too hot; Suburban says to turn the unit off until it is cool enough to be used again.
Owner-safe checks
- Turn the cooktop off.
- Wait until the cooktop surface is completely cool before cleaning or restarting.
- After cooldown, make sure cookware is not empty and the air intake and exhaust vent area are clear.
Service-only work
- Opening or attempting to open, modifying, disassembling, repairing, sensor, control, outlet, cord, plug, internal electrical, and power-supply diagnosis is dealer, Suburban Customer Service, qualified RV technician, or electrician work.
Safety boundary
Do not open or attempt to open the cooktop. Stop use after repeated error codes, damaged cord or plug, abnormal heat, or any suspected electrical problem and contact Suburban Customer Service or qualified service.
