What Flame not ignited in GAS/Automatic mode means
The Dometic RM8 support page says flame not ignited in GAS or automatic mode can be reset from the front controls and tried again.
Owner-safe checks
- Reset the fault once using the documented front-panel button timing.
- Confirm only owner-visible LP supply status before retrying.
- Stop LP mode and arrange service if the fault returns.
Service-only work
- Repeated LP ignition failure, burner service, gas valve, LP hardware, wiring, and refrigerator electronics diagnosis are service-only.
Safety boundary
Do not service LP hardware, burners, electrical circuits, wiring, or refrigerator controls; use only documented front-panel reset and call qualified service for repeated ignition faults.
