The Dometic RM8 support page says the on-board power supply was interrupted while gas operation was starting; no automatic switching is performed during ignition.
Owner-safe checks
- Switch the refrigerator off and start again once.
- Record whether on-board power was interrupted while gas mode was starting.
- Arrange service if gas operation remains unavailable.
Service-only work
- Power switchover, internal supply, LP ignition interlock, wiring, and refrigerator electronics diagnosis are service-only.
Safety boundary
Do not service LP hardware, electrical circuits, wiring, or refrigerator controls; use only normal front-panel restart and call qualified service for repeated faults.
